Growing a Penrose

This is a handmade drawing with the famous Penrose tiling, which got it name from Sir Roger Penrose. I made it in the middle of the night, as I had to stay awake for other reasons. I thought it was fascinating, drawing a pentagon as carefully as possible and then coming up with instructions for myself to further "grow" the pattern. The first time I came across this pattern was from the movie OtherLife (2017), where it's seen briefly as a floor in one of the scenes. After that I familiarized myself with Mr. Penrose and in the end I drew this. I want to make more with the Penrose theme, as it kind of broke down without a ruler and measurements.
